Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and a writer, who has won numerous prizes. Her name is well-known for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). The desire to become an artist was inspired from her childhood as a member of an New York family of artists. Her first job was as a photo assistant. After that, she switched to acting and modeling. Her first two movies were noticed, and she was awarded recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw became a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films, MacGraw was declared one of the most successful women at the box office in history. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her handprints and signature engraved. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
