Andra Day and Andi Matichak
Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day is an American R&B/Soul songwriter and singer. She has been awarded many awards, such as an Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nomination for an Academy Award. Andra Day is an extremely gifted and skilled artist. It's not like she's a throwback R&B specialist, however her experience in gospel jazz, as well as the blues are evident and translates into contemporary music. The album she released her debut Cheers to the Autumn (2015) is an immediate success in the genre of R&B/hiphop which earned her a variety of Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Stand Up for Something (2017) was her contribution to Marshall's soundtrack was awarded both of these awards. The album included the track"Rise Up," which was an appeal to groups for justice across all over the world. Day was nominated for two Grammys with the latter being Best R&B Album. In 2019 she released her sophomore album The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album on the life of the legendary jazz singer. Also, she appeared in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film about Holiday. Andi Matichak is an American actor. She first appeared on television shows like Orange Is the New Black or Blue Bloods and then made her debut in horror films Halloween and sequels. Andi Mattichak was born on the 3rd of May, 1994 in Framingham Mass.
