Taylor Momsen was born in Saint. Louis Missouri. She is a popular American actor, model and singer. The most famous of her roles is her character Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the main singer in the band The Pretty Reckless. The music of Momsen is used in movies and TV shows like How to Be Single, Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen is a 26-year old actress who was born on the 26th of July in 1993. She has a younger sister named Sloane Momsen. She studied dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. Her first professional performance came aged three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake 'n Bake. Momsen's acting career came to a halt for over three years before she was offered an acting role as the lead in the WB series Misconceptions. Momsen was also a part of Saving Shiloh 2006 during this period. In addition, Momsen was a candidate to play the lead role on Hannah Montana. She was one of the top three however, Miley was chosen to play the lead role.
