Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome and raised with her family. The father of her was Manlio Paoluzzi, who was an Italian officer of the army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of Benito Mussolini's mistresses. It is not known if she had having siblings. Luciana is the only female who has graduated from her high school class in Milan. Luciana also studied nautical engineering at the time. Her modeling career began within two years. But, things changed when she received her first acting part through a chance encounter during a visit to her father's Rome friend. It was a two-line character in Three Coins in the Fountain. Her first marriage was with Brett Halsey who is also an actor. They got married in 1960 and made the movie Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana and Charles had a son who was who was named Charles 13 June 1961. The couple split up a year after his birth. Luciana then gained custody. Luciana had a long-term relationship with Tony Athony who was the actor and producer of films. Tony was influenced by Luciana's role on Green Slime to create the Spaghetti Western.
